Breakthrough AIDS Foundation is a nonprofit organization in Fort Portal, Kabarole, Uganda. We believe in equality for HIV/AIDS individuals, and providing rural communities with access to high-quality health services and skills-based training. Since 2017, we have implemented and completed various healthcare interventions, prevention programmes and income generation projects. These projects have reached over 2000 beneficiaries to date.
The barrier to access and affordability of health services in Kabarole has had a significant impact within the area, with rural communities being the most affected. The Healthcare for Everyone initiative aims to alleviate these challenges by providing point-of-care services directly to key populations within their communities. The video below explains more about the project. If you would like to know more about this initiative or would like to discuss a potential partnership or collaboration, please contact us.
97%of our staff are volunteers and we rely on the generosity of donors to continue our work. If you are able to support us with a donation please use the link below. Even the smallest contribution can make a huge difference.
